Yates Security had its genesis in the security industry over 110 years ago, when in 1900 Thomas Yates retired from the NSW Police Force and founded the business. The initial services were foot patrols providing protection for residents and businesses around Sydney’s Rocks and CBD areas.
Through all the intervening years up to the present day, Yates Security has remained at the forefront of the security industry.
Yates Security established a non-stop alarm monitoring facility in 1973, to provide clients with 24-hour back-to-base monitoring and rapid response to alarm conditions.

Yates Security has never forgotten that its original service, the man on the beat, is still among the very best crime deterrents and compliments the use of technology in security today.
